Tom Simpson ( 1877 - 1964 ) was an English golf course architect .

Simpson, together with his fellow countryman Fred Hawtree and his son Martin, played a major role in the development of golf courses in Belgium.

Tom Simpson graduated from Cambridge University in 1902 and became a lawyer ( English : barrister ). A few years later, he started designing golf courses. He also published Design For Golf in 1929.
