Golf and Country Club Hittnau-Zurich

The Golf and Country Club Hittnau-Zurich is a family and sporty private club in the beautiful Zurich Oberland. Our well-maintained golf course is one of the most beautiful in the country due to its unique location and sophisticated layout. We maintain a warm welcoming culture and look forward to visitors from Switzerland and from all over the world. On the weekends, however, our facility is reserved for our members and their guests.

Located on a hill in the Zurich Oberland, the attractive and well-maintained course offers exceptional impressions not only for the discerning golfer, but also for the nature lover.

The hilly terrain with beautiful, old trees, water in the form of streams and lakes, adjacent nature protection zones and forest requires well-placed strokes. The course is technically challenging for experts, but also offers beginners a fair chance. A defensive strategy geared towards precision often leads to better results than a risky attack.

Built by Bernhard Limburger, Donald Harradine and Kurt Rossknecht have redesigned the square over the years. With the renovation in 2015/16, holes 1-9, 10 and 18 were partially completely redesigned. The course now offers an even more attractive layout and a wonderful gaming experience.

The different character of the course is interesting . While the first 9 holes let the view wander again and again into the expanse of the Zurich Oberland up to the foothills of the Alps, the second 9 holes lead through the middle of a beautiful, heavily forested nature reserve. Hole 15 is our signature hole with a fairway in the middle of a forest clearing. This visually impressive par 3 requires a lot of precision and good nerves.

After the round, the attractive club house awaits you with an inviting terrace and a wonderful view over the first fairways and over the Pfäffiker and Greifensee to the Pfannenstil and Uetliberg. In our restaurant, our tenant, René Suter and his team, spoil our members and their guests as well as green fee players with first-class cuisine and a fine selection of wines.
