Valdres Golf Club

Valdres Golf is a natural gem of a golf course where it is beautifully situated down by Aurdalsvannet in Vestringsbygda, 12 km from Fagernes. This is the only golf course in Valdres and you have to either go far south or over to the neighboring valleys to find other courses.

The course was designed by course architect Jeremy Turner and opened in 2003. At that time, the course was 5758m long, par 72, with yellow and red tees. As of the 2021 season, parts of the course have changed. You can now play two different loops: Black loop is par 73 at 5726 m. White loop is par 72 and 4811 m. Another news is that men and women start from the same tee. This is adjusted for with playing handicap and added strokes. In addition, it is made for a green bow with par 66.

The facility consists of a 9-hole course with 18 tees, driving range and practice area with putting green and sand piles. In the clubhouse you will find a café and pro shop. The café serves homemade snacks both indoors and outdoors. In the pro shop we offer a good selection of golf equipment and accessories. We also rent golf carts and equipment. The course maintains a very high standard. The fairways are considered to be some of the best you will find in Eastern Norway. We have a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere and do everything we can to ensure that our guests have the best golf experience possible.
