Located on the Lomada de Tecina , the field that looks out over the blue ocean, it was designed by the prominent British architect and writer Donald Steel, who has defined it as: “the most exciting and challenging project I have ever designed and built. It is unusual as you have to climb to the first tee and then it is downhill all the way. The views are amazing."
The 18 holes facing the sea at Tecina Golf have a total length of 6,343 meters from white bars and a par 71.
Its fairways and greens are surrounded by an exuberant sample of Canarian flora , such as cardones and tabaibas, as well as fruits such as bananas, avocados or sleeves, which give off their characteristic aroma.
La Gomera was declared a World Biosphere Reserve in 2012
