Fjällbacka Golf Club

Fjällbacka GK was formed in 1965 and was ready for play on the first 9 holes in 1967. 18 holes were ready in 1973, then the clubhouse, carriage shed, range etc. have been built, moved and rebuilt.

During the 2005-2006 season, we rebuilt all the greens to the new USGA standard. This reconstruction has extended the season considerably - both spring and autumn, and made it possible to be open even in bad weather.

Fjällbacka GK offers a scenic course with a semi-seaside character that suits all categories of players. The golf is reminiscent of links golf as the proximity to the sea means that the wind must be included in the calculations and that the firm greens often require the ball to be rolled in. Few courses are more beautiful than Fjällbacka, as eleven of the holes are played along the beautiful Anråsälven. The first shot is played over the river where it flows into the sea.

At Fjällbacka GK, which is the proud organizer of the Swedish Golf Tour, every player can take part in Bohuslän''s best golf experience from early spring to late autumn.
