Vårgårda Golf Club

The golf course in Vårgårda is above all known for its fantastic fitness. Above all in autumn and winter where we often have the course open with really nice summer greens for Christmas & New Years. Many also start the season here as the greens and fairways are very good immediately when we open, which is among the first in our region.

When the track was built, 20-30 cm of sand was laid out over the entire track. Which means that the fairways always have a fantastically nice and firm turf to play from. It can pretty much withstand any amount of rain and is always dry and nice. Hence its popularity in autumn. But it is always in good condition, with really fast greens, which many rave about.

The track is designed by Peter Fjällman and only gets more and more fun the more laps you play. It requires being strategic and planning your game. The character varies during the round from park course to links character and then back to park to then enter the quite challenging and fun forest holes.
