Orinda Country Club

Orinda Country Club, established in 1924, is the East Bay’s premier family Country Club. Nestled in the picturesque foothills east of San Francisco, Orinda Country Club takes great pride in creating lifelong personal connections through activities like Golf, Tennis, Aquatics, Fitness, Pickleball, and social events. Our renovated golden age William Watson golf course, scenic and award-winning swim and tennis facilities, and signature culinary offerings make Orinda Country Club a home away from home. Designed by William Watson during the “Golden Age” of golf course architecture in the 1920''s, Orinda remains a classic Watson design following its renovation in 2015 by Todd Eckenrode, featuring wide and rolling fairways, relatively small greens with gentle contours, and beautiful bunkering – all set among historic oaks and sycamores that border the course.

Playing at approximately 6,400 yards and par 71 (par 74 for ladies), Orinda is known for its unparalleled variety of holes – no two holes are alike, and members and guests will find the course to be one of the most challenging and interesting of Northern California’s many classic-era designs. Orinda is committed to exceptional playing conditions year-round, and significant investments have been made by the Club to produce firm and consistent conditions from tee to green throughout the year.
