Set in the middle of picturesque Hakone Highland, the club is uniquely gifted with a surprisingly vast variety of fauna and flora as well as the hot springs that the region is famous for.
The club was founded in 1954 and was designed by Shiro Akahoshi, a renowned golf architect in Japan, who inherited golf design philosophy from Alister MacKenzie.
The course has hosted the Japan Women’s Open in 2002 as well as other premier tournaments.
