Paltamo Golf Club

Paltamo Golf is located in a magnificent natural landscape where cliffs, woods and the outline of the beach have determined the location of the fairways.

“There’s both beauty and real excitement in the course’s milieu,” describes Ronald W. Fream, an internationally acclaimed California golf architect who designed the course.

The first drives on the course were beaten in the summer -90 and the new beautiful waterways were completed in the summer of 2000. The full-size 18-hole course is designed to provide a challenge for the skilled player, but is also easy enough for a beginner. The course is owned by Paltamo Golf Oy, which is also responsible for all activities on the course.

The training sites in the field have been built so that training is possible as early as spring. For practice, the field has a range for long strokes and for pitching the close game separately pitch and putt greens.

The midnight sun shines in Paltamo from the end of May to the end of July. As early as the beginning of September, the field is played in full daylight for about 14 hours a day. Can you demand more from golf in Finland?
