Federal Golf Club

The Federal Golf Club is one of Canberra’s premier public golf courses and presents one of Australia’s best inland golfing experiences.

Formed in 1933, Federal Golf Club’s original location now lies at the bottom of Lake Burley Griffin. In 1949, the course reopened at its current location on the western side of Red Hill just two kilometres from the Parliamentary Triangle.

The 18 hole championship course features pristine Santa Ana couch fairways and quality bent grass greens which are protected by well-placed bunkers. Set in beautiful bushland surrounds with grand views of the Brindabella Ranges, the Federal Golf Club truly is a very special place.

The clubhouse offers a comprehensive range of food and beverage services, including unique dining experiences created by our executive chef.
