Rivers Edge Golf Club

Sitting along the Shallotte River in Shallotte, North Carolina this Arnold Palmer signature design is by far one of the most scenic courses along the eastern coast of the United States. At par 72 this completely unique 18 hole layout stretches from just under 5000 yards to almost 7000 yards depending upon which of the five sets tees chosen. The course rating ranges from 67.1 to 72.7 and the slope from 118 to 140 across tee selections.

With 7 of the 18 holes running along the bluffs and grassy marshes of the Shallotte River and Copas Lake, the stunning vistas are unmatched. Views extend for miles in both directions along the waterway.

Rivers Edge utilizes Sunday Ultradwarf Bermuda grass for the greens surface. This is a hardy strain of grass that offers smooth, quick and uniform surfaces. Fairways are a bermuda base with ryegrass overseed being utilized during late fall, winter, and early spring seasons.

Overlooking holes 9 and 18 above the Shallotte River, our clubhouse features a wrap-around porch that takes in the views that make this and extraordinary property. It’s a great place to enjoy a nice lunch or cocktail.
