Ashburnham Golf Club

Ashburnham Golf Course is located in Burry Port, a short drive from Llanelli and is the most prestigious golf course in Carmarthenshire, South Wales.

Members of Ashburnham have always been very proud of the golf course and of the Club’s history. The course was designed in 1894 by J H Taylor, five times Open Champion. Harry Vardon, who won the Open Championship six times between 1896 and 1914, still the record, called Ashburnham his favourite Welsh course.

The Club offers a wide range of light snacks and meals throughout the day for members and golfing visitors. Catering is also arranged as part of our inclusive golf packages and we can provide breakfast, light lunches and full three course dinners for your golf days and corporate events.

Bar and catering opening times vary between winter and summer so we recommend that you contact Ashburnham Golf Club when you are planning your visit.

Take the opportunity to study the Club memorabilia. On the walls are some original photographs alongside Home International Teams and our special Ryder Cup connection.

During the summer months a popular post-round location is the patio. With magnificent views of the 1st and 18th Holes this is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink or bar snack whilst reflecting the experience of your round.

Our friendly staff provide both members and guests with a warm welcome and offer a full bar service together with a varied menu, from light snacks throughout the day through to a full dinner.

Surrounded by signs of the extensive history of the Club the lounge provides panoramic views over the course to the Gower peninsular . Sink into a relaxing chair or enjoy the afternoon sun with a refreshing drink on the terrace.

The ‘Spike Bar’ offers that well deserved drink as you come straight from the course, and after making use of the extensive locker room facilities, dinner can be served in the dining room.

For groups or parties who would like a little more privacy why not make arrangements for use of one of our private rooms for dining or business meetings.
