Sagebrush Golf Club

Sagebrush Golf & Sporting Club is, quite simply, the best expression of links golf in Western Canada. The course is “one of one” in its adherence to tour quality, minimalist golf standards, links-style playability, and laid-back ranch culture. To preserve its unique feel, the course accommodates no more than 54 guests each day (one-quarter of what most clubs host in a day), and this low-volume, high-service approach ensures a distinct experience for the guest and exceptional conditions on the course. If you are someone who takes the game seriously, Sagebrush is the course you must play each year.

Guests have the option of playing unlimited golf as part of an overnight Adventure Stay, or they may enjoy a golf-only single-day experience. Each day has a limited number of guests, which means each group feels as if they have the course to themselves. Priority for tee access is provided first to overnight guests, then to day guests.

Sagebrush is the best – and only – true expression of links golf in Western Canada. Set along the ridge overlooking Nicola Lake in the BC interior just outside of Merritt, the facility includes eight guest suites which can accommodate as many as 28 overnight guests. There is the showcase 18-hole championship golf course, as well as the “Badlands” putting course and the “Double 8” pitching course. Additionally, there is the infamous “Hideout” fishing (and drinking) lodge located on the small lake which runs adjacent to the 13th hole.
