The Golf Club of Texas re-opened its doors in the summer of 2015. The course, while maintaining its original routing, has reopened under the direction and guidance of Course Architect Roy Bechtol.

Additionally, The Golf Club of Texas provides premier playing surfaces using the best grasses available: L1F Zoysia Greens, Zeon Zoysia Tees, and Jamur Zoysia for the Fairways. These are the grasses the most exclusive golf courses in the world choose. Now you can play them too. In fact, this is the only Golf Course in the United States that is 100% Zoysia tee to green. Our practice facility has been expanded to include two putting greens in addition to our short game scoring practice area- all with real Zoysia grass.

Our goal is to provide the best golf experience in San Antonio with the best course conditions available anywhere…and at an affordable price. No need for a massive initiation fee here.
