Donalda Golf Club

Impeccable conditioning. Modern, USGA specification greens. A golf course that is in the heart of Toronto, but feels like it could be in the country. Situated in a parkland setting, Donalda is a course that will surprise many, both with its central location, and the quality of the experience. Playing through a plunging valley, with a meandering river running through its core, Donalda perfectly merges with the natural landscape. Challenging where it needs to be, but playable for all, Donalda is memorable, varied and always interesting. Part of an Audubon-certified facility, Donalda is an escape from the daily challenges of the city—without ever having to leave Toronto.

Originally created by Canadian golf professional Jimmie Johnstone, and opened for play in 1961, the current version of Donalda has the signature of noted Canadian golf designer Thomas McBroom.

McBroom led a redesign of the course in 1994, and completely rebuilt the greens to USGA specifications, with the course reopening in 2014 with 20 new putting surfaces (which includes the practice greens).
