Directly on the north-south axis, the A3 motorway, there is the Steigerwald golf course in Geiselwind. The 18-hole championship course was designed by star architect Don Harradine and is located on a, for the Steigerwald typical, high plateau. Especially successful is the placement of the greens. Some are open and offer the golfer a magnificent view of the Franconian landscape, while others have been fantastically hidden in various coves.
Golfers can experience the beauty of the Steigerwald nature park up close on the approximately 60 hectare nature reserve. A public 6-hole short course is also offered and can also be played without a membership in a golf club.
